Advanced Placement Scores
When I took over AP Statistics at AC Reynolds High School, the previous year's class had only 8 students. By the time I left, the class consistently held more than 40 students distributed over 2 blocks.
Throughout my time as AP Statistics instructor, student scores were consistently well above both the North Carolina and Global scores for both Mean Score and % Score 3 or Higher. That second metric was expecially important, as many state universities gave full college credit in Statistics to any student who scored a 3 or above. I am particularly proud than many students decided to major in statistics in college after taking the class and chose to stay in touch long after they had graduated from ACRHS.
